Privacy Policy

EPTI (the “Service”) collects as little personal information as possible and handles the information it collects as described below.
Information We Collect
The Service does not ask you to provide directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or date of birth. When you complete the test, the following information is collected automatically:
- Your EPTI type and scores across the four axes
- Your selected language
- The country code associated with your connection (country-level information only; we do not collect more precise location data, such as your city)
- A hashed version of your IP address (the original IP address is not stored; only a non-reversible SHA-256 hash is retained and used solely to help prevent duplicate submissions within a short period)
- The date and time of submission
How We Use Information
The information collected is used only to:
- Produce anonymous, aggregate statistics, such as type distribution
- Improve the quality of the Service
Legal Basis for Processing
We process the information above on the basis of the Service provider’s legitimate interests in producing anonymous statistics and improving the Service. Because the Service does not collect information that directly identifies an individual, the risk that this processing will interfere with users’ rights and freedoms is minimal.
Data Retention
The information collected is retained for as long as the Service remains in operation and will be deleted if the Service is discontinued.
Data Storage and International Transfers
The information collected is stored on servers located in the United States using Supabase and Vercel infrastructure. If you access the Service from Europe or another location outside the United States, the information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your Rights
The Service does not store names, email addresses, or other information that can identify a particular individual, and IP addresses are retained only as non-reversible hashed values. As a result, it is technically impossible to link the stored data to a specific person or to identify an individual user’s data in order to respond to a request for access, correction, or deletion (see Article 11 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). This is a consequence of the Service’s data-minimization design.
You have the right to lodge a complaint about the handling of personal data with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Website Analytics
EPTI uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure overall website traffic. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and provides aggregate traffic statistics in a manner that does not identify individual visitors.
Payment Information
Paid report purchases are processed by Gumroad, Inc. (“Gumroad”), a third-party payment provider acting as the Merchant of Record. Any email address or payment method information you enter during checkout is processed by Gumroad under its own privacy policy. Gumroad also delivers the purchased report and may embed the purchaser’s email address in the delivered PDF as a purchase identifier. EPTI’s servers do not store credit or debit card numbers or other payment method details.
Sharing of Information
EPTI does not sell or disclose the information collected through the test to third parties. Payment information and website analytics data are processed separately by Gumroad and Vercel, respectively, as described above.
